Kentucky yellow

Attention all Albion College alumni! we have 3 slabs of an exotic species that we are reserving just for you. These slabs were obtained from one of only two Kentucky yellow trees in the area, and it grew on Albion College's campus next to Olen Hall, near the train tracks. Unfortunately, it had to be taken down because its root system was interfering with the foundation of a building. The wood from these trees is highly valued for its rich color and distinctive grain patterns, often used to make gun stocks and knife handles. It's very rare to find Kentucky yellow wood large enough to be sawn into lumber, so we were incredibly lucky to get this log. we have had it in our collection for a long time waiting fo rthe right alimni and would be thrilled to see it put to good use in your next Commission.
