Spalted dogwood tree

We're excited to share with you some dogwood lumber that we milled last fall. It was sourced from a tree that was most likely planted in someone's yard in the area about 80 years ago, and we found it in 2019. We let it spalt before milling to bring out its unique beauty.

Dogwood is one of the hardest species of wood that grows here in the zone 5 climate, and this particular lumber is no exception. It has stunning grain patterns and a unique character that will make any woodworking project stand out.

If you're interested in having something made from this special dogwood lumber, please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd be happy to work with you on a custom project that highlights the natural beauty of this wood. Thanks for considering us for your woodworking needs!
